Your tasks

  • Technical sales of solar thermal plants and engineering services in the field of Green-Tec for our industrial customers worldwide
  • Preparation of quotations, project costs and monitoring until contract conclusion
  • Development of new sales markets and market segments and development of new sales models
  • Processing and supporting EU funding projects and tenders
  • Contact person for internal and external inquiries on an international level

Your profile

  • Successfully completed technical or economical studies (preferably process engineering, environmental engineering, industrial engineering) or in a comparable field.
  • Professional experience in technical sales and project acquisition

Control Electronics and Electrical Engineer

About the job

Following the acquisition of a number of international projects, we are looking for an experienced engineering professional who will be responsible for all control and electrical systems in our solar thermal plants.

Your tasks

  • Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for all control, electronic and electrical systems in our solar thermal plants
  • Working with the engineering team, you will produce the detailed specifications for the systems required to operate, monitor and ensure the safety of the equipment
  • To create technical documentation including materials lists, single line & wiring diagrams, operational flow charts and drawings to permit the realisation of the systems
  • You will design, develop and test the operational strategies to be used for each system
  • Working with our suppliers regarding the supply of components and the control methodology used on each project
  • System installation checks, commissioning, testing and optimisation
  • Problem diagnosis and system support for existing and new systems
  • Development of future systems – Especially SMART solar

Your profile

  • Minimum of five years’ experience of working with control and electrical systems.
  • Will have the ability to solve technical problems, either on-site or remotely
  • Relevant technical qualification (Degree or Technician) in (for example) electrical engineering
  • Formal practical training such as an apprenticeship would be an advantage
  • Must be prepared to work on site and support projects and customers worldwide
  • Must be flexible regarding working times to overcome time zone issues
  • Must be fluent in English. Must have working level German language skills.

Environmental Engineer

Your tasks

  • Background research and analysis for new CSP projects
  • Presenting the results of initial studies to the project team and customers
  • Creation of technical documents such as feasibility studies, project reports etc. in English
  • Assistance in the creation and follow-up of project documentation, timescale and budget plans
  • Initial design activities including 2D and 3D CAD drawing and design calculations
  • Creation of specifications and drawings for components and systems
  • Carrying out simulations regarding the integration of the solar plant with the customer’s system
  • Assistance in the creation of CSP plant operating instructions and manuals
