Proud to spotlight our Innovation Fund-backed initiative that’s setting a bold new standard in industrial decarbonization: SUNBREWED.

Together with our partners ELPEDISON and Athenian Brewery, we are implementing this pioneering project at a brewery in Patras, Greece, where it will demonstrate how concentrated solar thermal technology, combined with a Thermal Purchase Agreement (TPA) business model, can provide 100% CO₂-free steam for industrial processes.

The SUNBREWED aims to

• Replace fossil fuels with renewable solar heat.
• Integrate thermal storage for reliability and flexibility.
• Deliver cost-effective clean energy directly to the food and beverage industry.

We are committed to make an impact by reducing operational energy costs and supporting the REPowerEU Plan and European climate targets while creating new local jobs and educational outreach with schools to promote awareness and inspire future talent.
