Within the framework of the Pro-Sol-Netz research project, Protarget is actively engaged in integrating concentrating solar thermal (CSt) into industrial process heat and district heating systems in Germany. In cooperation with leading research institutions like the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy System (ISE) and technology providers, we are developing cost-efficient CSP solutions designed for applications requiring temperatures above 100°C, providing a sustainable alternative to conventional fossil fuel-based systems. 

This initiative, supported by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), aims to demonstrate the technical and economic viability of CST and promote its broader adoption in the market.
