We’re thrilled to announce the successful completion of our facility in Fes, Morocco, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards sustainable energy solutions.
Our PT950 parabolic trough technology has been successfully installed in the campus of the Université EuroMed de Fès, as part of a system that will use energy from the sun to generate electricity and produce clean drinking water.
The concept demonstrator is comprised of a solar field that uses one row of parabolic trough modules to capture the abundant solar radiation, an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) turbine, that generates electricity and an innovative thermal desalination system.
The high level of solar radiation found not only at this specific site, but also throughout much of Morocco, means that the technology used in the pilot plant is extremely relevant as a way of providing cost effective, reliable and sustainable energy for the country in the future.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to innovate in the realm of sustainable energy!
